Wonderground Park Project
Wonderground is a series of adopted lots located at Barclay & E Lanvale on the site of demolished properties. The space was adopted by Stewart Watson and GWCA in 2013, and in 2014 saw several community-organized activities to clean the space for safe recreational play.
In April of 2015 a HCPI Spruce-Up Grant Application was submitted to Central Baltimore Partnership by the GWCA Safety Committee. Titled the “Come Out & Play Proposal”, the application was co-written by Kellie Burns, Lowell Larsson, Jeff Leone, Lena Leone and Paul Mudd. The application was awarded a grant of $22,560! E. Oliver Street resident, Kellie Burns, was appointed as Project Manager.
