Join us in the North Avenue Market for a relaxing end to the work week. NAP TIME will showcase music that is ambient, delicate andconducive to sleep, and we'll have relaxation tents, meditative art, armotherapy, and tea!

This is a FREE event. The first 150 people to arrive at Final Fridays will receive a free Sta-Note, worth $2 at participating Station North businesses! Don't forget to stop by one the wonderful bars, theatres, gallerise and venues o fStation North after FInal Friday ends at :00pm.

NAP TIME is a preview for Saturday's "Drift State: An extended evening of audovisual ecstacy" at the Soft House from 8:00PM-8:00AM (see details below). This is a twelve hour event and slumber party featuring:

Musical Guests WhichMagic and Bow-Legged Gorilla; relaxing Teas from Zensations by Jen; video installation by Meg Rorison; fanciful light installations; lounge tent with pillow puffs from Stewart Watson and more!

Join the Contemporary and the lovely folks at the SoftHouse for an all night happening of experimental, ambient, and other worldly music designed for slumber. Bring a sleeping bag, and some ZZZs. With performances and audiovisual installations from: Andrew Bernstein, Grayson Brown, Andrew Burt, Bow-Legged Gorilla, Renee and Miles Clark, Run DMT, Meg Rorison, Owen Gaertner, Gem Visions, Rod Hamilton, KnightMagic, Rachel London, Liz Meredith, MC Scmidt, Erik Spangler, Happy Family, John Somers, ZFCL, and others.

THE WINTER FESTIVAL OF WONDERS

The Winter Festival of Wonders is a three day celebration of wonder, magic and play. The Festival will take place from February 10 – 12, 2012 at Area 405 in the Station North Arts & Entertainment District in Baltimore, MD. The Winter Festival of Wonders is currently seeking up to five installation artists to present site-specific work throughout Area 405 for the duration of the 3 day festival. They are also seeking up to 20 vendors to sell their work at The Mystery Marketplace!

"CAFETERIA MAN" SCREENING
Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School (1600 Guilford Ave)

The Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School is holding a screening of the film Cafeteria Man which chronicles students and community activisits' and Tony Geraci's quest to improve Baltimore City's school food.

Doors open at 6pm for complimentary appetizers created by BMPCS students using fresh ingredients provided by the Mt. Washington Whole Foods and screening the 30 minute MICA documentary BFED. Cafeteria Man film starts promptly at 7pm. After the screening, we will have a panel discussion with the film makers, BMPCS school food educators and advocates and a City Schools Food Services representative to talk about what's happened since the film and what is the progress on the goal of getting healthier foods into school meals and, especially, into students. All proceeds will go to benefit the Baltimore Montessori Seed to Table Program.

Tickets are $10 in advance available here or $15 at the door.
